Runes are a set of characters that were first used as writing symbols and later began to be used as magic charms and methods of divination. The different runes can also be combined into a single figure. Although amulets and talismans already made by other people have the power of the written symbol, they are still much more effective and powerful if you make them yourself out of materials from nature, such as wood, stones or metals.
